Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian – Penanganan & Pengujian Farmasi to join our pharmaceutical team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe preparation, handling, and quality testing of medicines within a hospital or clinical setting. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, and laboratory technicians to support optimal patient care through accurate drug compounding and rigorous analytical testing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, compound, and label medications according to established formulary standards and physician orders.
- Conduct routine and special laboratory tests on pharmaceutical products to verify potency, purity, and stability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of compounding procedures, batch records, and test results in compliance with national regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment such as HPLC, spectrophotometers, and autoclaves.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to manage inventory, ensuring that raw materials and finished products are stored under proper conditions.
- Participate in the development and validation of new compounding protocols and analytical methods.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and pharmacy interns on safe handling practices.
- Monitor and report any deviations or incidents related to drug preparation and testing, following the institution’s quality assurance procedures.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to clarify medication orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and waste disposal protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 Pharmacy or S1 Pharmacy (Non‑Professional track).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospital pharmacy, drug compounding, or pharmaceutical testing.
- Proven proficiency in preparing sterile and non‑sterile formulations, as well as conducting quality control assays.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated responsibility, honesty, and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and local regulatory requirements (e.g., BPOM).
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, report generation, and inventory management.
