Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kasir Penjualan to join our vibrant retail team. This full‑time position is based in a busy department store that serves a diverse clientele across the region. As the front‑line financial guardian of the shop, you will ensure every transaction is processed accurately, while delivering exceptional customer service that reflects our brand’s commitment to quality and hospitality.
The ideal candidate is a female professional who has completed at least a high school education (SMA/SMK or equivalent), possesses strong computer skills—particularly in Microsoft Excel—and demonstrates a disciplined, honest, and responsible work ethic. This role offers a structured schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing stability and routine for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to record sales, process cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately.
- Maintain an organized cash drawer, perform regular cash reconciliation, and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommend complementary items, and handle returns or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
- Prepare daily sales reports using Microsoft Excel, highlighting key metrics such as total sales, average transaction value, and inventory movement.
- Collaborate with inventory staff to ensure that shelves are stocked, price tags are up‑to‑date, and promotional displays are correctly implemented.
- Monitor and enforce store security procedures, including checking identification for age‑restricted products and preventing fraudulent transactions.
- Provide a clean and welcoming checkout area, managing queue flow to minimize waiting times.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new product lines, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Support the sales team during peak periods by handling overflow transactions and assisting with merchandising tasks.
Requirements
- Female candidate, unmarried, with a minimum education level of SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data entry and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond to customer needs in a friendly, professional manner.
- Creative and innovative mindset, capable of suggesting improvements to checkout procedures and promotional displays.
- High degree of discipline, honesty, and responsibility; able to handle cash and confidential information securely.
- Basic numeracy and arithmetic skills; comfortable handling large volumes of transactions.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) with the possibility of occasional overtime during promotional events.
