We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Kasir Penjualan Ritel who brings a strong customer‑service mindset to our bustling retail environment in Gresik City. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed at least a high school education (SMA/SMK or equivalent) and are eager to develop their cash handling expertise while contributing to a friendly, community‑focused shopping experience. The position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 17:00, and values individuals who can adapt quickly, maintain accuracy, and optionally support basic kitchen duties when needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction processing, cash reconciliation, and receipt generation.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product queries, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular checks of the cash drawer, scanners, and promotional displays.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies while preserving a courteous demeanor.
- Collaborate with floor staff to restock merchandise, arrange promotional items, and ensure that price tags and signage are up‑to‑date.
- Monitor inventory levels at the point of sale and alert the store manager of low‑stock situations.
- Assist in basic food preparation or snack service when required, leveraging the optional cooking skill to support in‑store refreshment offerings.
- Prepare end‑of‑day cash reports, balance the register, and securely deposit cash according to established procedures.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and safety protocols.
- Uphold company standards for hygiene, safety, and customer privacy throughout all interactions.
Requirements
- Age: Maximum 25 years old.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Gresik City.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Skills: Proficiency with cash register (Sistem Kasir) and basic computer literacy.
- Preferred: Ability to perform simple cooking tasks to support in‑store food services.
- Availability: Willing to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
