Responsibilities
- Operate industrial steam irons and pressing machines to achieve flawless finishes on shirts, trousers, dresses, and other garments.
- Inspect each item before and after ironing to ensure there are no wrinkles, stains, or damage, correcting any issues promptly.
- Organize and manage the workflow of garments, prioritizing tasks according to client deadlines and urgency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work station, including regular cleaning of equipment, lint filters, and surrounding areas.
- Track inventory of ironing supplies such as starch, spray bottles, and protective covers, requesting replenishment when needed.
- Collaborate with laundry and folding teams to ensure a seamless hand‑off of items and consistent quality throughout the service chain.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including night and weekend shifts, while accurately recording working hours.
- Continuously improve personal efficiency by learning new techniques, staying updated on fabric care guidelines, and participating in periodic training sessions.
- Provide courteous assistance to customers when required, answering basic queries about garment care and service timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 20 – 25 years.
