To support our expanding network of stores, we are looking for a dedicated Staf Kasir Penjualan Ritel who will become the friendly face of the checkout area and help maintain our reputation for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Process sales transactions swiftly, scan items, apply discounts, and issue receipts in a courteous manner.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout counter, ensuring that all necessary supplies (receipt paper, bags, promotional flyers) are stocked and readily available.
- Verify customer identification for age‑restricted products and resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, and exchanges, providing clear explanations of store policies.
- Collaborate with floor staff to restock merchandise, monitor inventory levels at the point of sale, and flag low‑stock items for replenishment.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare deposit slips, and report any irregularities to the store manager.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including regular sanitization of the checkout area.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively, sharing workload during peak hours, and supporting colleagues as needed.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new product lines, promotional campaigns, and updated POS functionalities.
Requirements
- Female candidates, maximum age 27 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Proficient in basic computer operation and comfortable using retail POS software.
- Well‑groomed appearance with a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Strong work ethic: diligent, honest, and highly committed to delivering excellent service.
- Good physical health and mental resilience to handle long standing periods and occasional busy rushes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility in shift coverage.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and quick mental calculations.
