Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Remedial Officer (Collection) to join its team in Pandaan, Jawa Timur. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the company’s cash flow by ensuring overdue accounts receivable are recovered promptly and professionally. The successful candidate will work closely with the credit and finance departments, employing strong negotiation and communication skills to maintain healthy customer relationships while meeting strict collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue accounts (A/R Overdue), ensuring all actions are taken within established timelines.
- Monitor daily aging reports, identify high‑risk accounts, and develop targeted collection strategies.
- Contact delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans that align with company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities, agreements, and communications in the internal CRM system.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to understand loan terms, assess risk, and provide feedback for future credit decisions.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting collection success rates, obstacles encountered, and recommended process improvements.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes related to consumer credit and collection practices to ensure full compliance.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to sharpen negotiation techniques, legal knowledge, and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or a related finance function (experience is a plus but not mandatory).
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts.
- High level of integrity, diligence, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with credit management software.
- Male candidates only, as per current organizational policy.
- Willingness to be placed at the Adira Finance branch nearest to the candidate’s domicile.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
