Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Engineer – Shift Produksi dan Pemeliharaan to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is critical in ensuring that all hotel facilities operate smoothly across multiple shifts, guaranteeing a seamless experience for guests while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with both technical and front‑of‑house teams to uphold operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and building infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly, ensuring minimal impact on guest services and hotel operations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and front‑desk departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting guest experiences.
- Monitor and log equipment performance, preparing detailed reports for senior management and recommending upgrades or replacements when necessary.
- Implement and enforce hotel standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to engineering and safety, including fire safety drills and emergency response protocols.
- Lead small project teams for refurbishments, system upgrades, or energy‑saving initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and non‑technical staff on proper equipment usage.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ordering supplies proactively to avoid shortages.
- Participate in shift handover meetings, communicating outstanding issues, completed tasks, and upcoming priorities.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (SMA/SMK acceptable with relevant experience).
- Experience: At least 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, electrical systems, building services, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong customer‑service orientation, ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Personal Traits: High integrity, disciplined work ethic, professional appearance, and a friendly demeanor.
- Work Conditions: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing manual tasks, lifting equipment, and accessing elevated work areas safely.
