Willies Bakery, a vibrant and growing bakery located on the lower ground floor of Duta Mall in Palangkaraya, is looking for enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our front‑of‑house team as Waiter Service Staff Members. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome every customer with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they enter the bakery.
- Present and explain the bakery’s product range—including breads, croissants, cakes, and seasonal pastries—and suggest pairings or promotions that match customer preferences.
- Take accurate orders, handle transactions, and process payments using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Assist with packaging orders for take‑away, ensuring items are securely wrapped and labeled according to hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas by promptly clearing used dishes, wiping surfaces, and resetting tables for the next guests.
- Arrange product displays attractively, rotate stock to showcase fresh items, and replenish displays throughout the shift.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing, resolve any issues, and maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations, including proper hand‑washing, use of gloves, and sanitation of equipment.
- Participate in shift rotations, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the bakery’s operating schedule.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, product popularity, and any operational challenges observed during the shift.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
