Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pengumpul Lapangan (Tanah Bumbu) to join our field collection team. The role is focused on proactive debt recovery and customer engagement across designated territories in the Tanah Bumbu region. As a field collector, you will act as the face of our finance department, building trust with clients while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting. Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection visits to customers with outstanding balances, following a predefined schedule.
- Negotiate payment arrangements, discuss repayment plans, and resolve disputes in a courteous and professional manner.
- Collect cash, checks, or electronic payments directly from clients and ensure proper documentation of each transaction.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any escalations.
- Achieve weekly and monthly collection targets set by the management team.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the assigned geographic area, including key businesses, road networks, and local market conditions.
- Coordinate with the central credit control department to update account statuses and share field insights.
- Identify early warning signs of potential defaults and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risk.
- Comply with all company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards while performing collection activities.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to enhance negotiation techniques and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; 2 years preferred.
- Valid motorcycle (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C license.
- Strong knowledge of the Tanah Bumbu area, including local routes and client locations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed collection targets consistently.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and self‑motivation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the office team.
