Introduction
Sempoa SIP Group, a leading early‑childhood education provider in the Greater Jakarta area, is expanding its teaching team. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Guru Sempoa (abacus instructor) and Guru Bahasa Inggris (English teacher) to join our vibrant campus in Jababeja, Bekasi. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a dynamic environment where you will work directly with children aged 3‑12, help shape their foundational math and language skills, and contribute to the group’s growing online presence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging abacus (sempoa) lessons to children, ensuring concepts are taught through hands‑on activities and visual aids.
- Plan and execute age‑appropriate English language sessions, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess each student’s progress, maintain detailed records, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback on performance, behavior, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and collaborative curriculum development workshops.
- Support the branding and marketing efforts of SIP Group by creating content for social‑media accounts, sharing classroom highlights, and promoting upcoming events.
- Attend mandatory training programs, including a comprehensive “Zero‑to‑Pro” abacus certification and ongoing professional development seminars.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) preferred; high school diploma (SMA/K) acceptable with relevant experience.
- Female candidates only, as specified by the school’s policy.
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with early‑childhood or primary‑level students.
- Strong command of basic mathematics and applied mathematics concepts; experience with abacus teaching is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Passion for continuous learning, willingness to adopt innovative teaching methodologies, and ability to integrate technology into lessons.
- Flexibility to work on‑site at the Karawaci‑Tangerang campus and attend a final interview in person.
- Proficiency in using social‑media platforms for educational branding and community engagement.
