Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manajer Operasional Kitchen to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. This full‑time position is based in a busy café‑restaurant environment that operates six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. The ideal candidate will be proficient both as a barista and a kitchen professional, capable of balancing hands‑on food preparation with strategic operational oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food and beverage items are prepared to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Operate and maintain coffee‑making equipment, delivering consistent barista‑grade beverages during peak service periods.
  • Control inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Implement food safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with local regulations, conducting regular audits and staff training.
  • Develop and refine menu items in collaboration with the culinary director, incorporating customer feedback and current market trends.
  • Prepare operational reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, preparation time, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve service issues promptly, maintaining the brand’s reputation for excellent hospitality.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning, ensuring the kitchen operates within its allocated cost structure.
  • Promote a culture of safety, encouraging staff to report hazards and participate in regular safety drills.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to all age groups, with a focus on candidates who demonstrate maturity and reliability.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Experience: Prior experience in kitchen operations or barista duties is preferred; fresh graduates with strong enthusiasm are also considered.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate coffee machines, prepare espresso drinks, and perform basic to intermediate cooking tasks.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong teamwork orientation, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.
  • Availability: Willingness to work the schedule Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
