Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our field operations team as a Data Collection Officer (Field Collector) based in Tanjung Selor, North Kalimantan. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with our retail customers, ensuring timely installment payments, and supporting the overall health of our loan portfolio. The successful candidate will work on‑site, engaging directly with customers, and will be a key point of contact for resolving payment issues, providing solutions, and representing the company’s commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts, monitoring payment schedules and proactively contacting borrowers to remind them of upcoming installments.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlement options with customers who experience financial difficulty, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collect field data on customer payment behavior, location, and any barriers to repayment, and report findings to the credit and risk teams.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, documenting every interaction, agreement, and follow‑up action.
- Provide on‑the‑spot problem solving for payment disputes, coordinating with the finance department to ensure swift resolution.
- Conduct regular visits to customers’ homes or workplaces, verifying address information and assessing collateral where applicable.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to relay field insights that can improve product design and customer communication strategies.
- Adhere to all compliance, security, and data‑privacy policies while handling sensitive financial information.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing best practices and contributing ideas for process improvements.
- Promote a positive brand image by delivering courteous, professional, and empathetic service at every customer touchpoint.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 28 years.
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) required; D3 or S1 qualifications are highly regarded.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational requirements).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust.
- Highly dynamic, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Passion for hands‑on, customer‑focused work and a willingness to travel within the Tanjung Selor region.
- Own a motorcycle and possess a valid SIM C driving licence.
- Basic proficiency with mobile data entry tools and familiarity with CRM or loan management software is a plus.
- Zero to minimal prior work experience; fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
