Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our logistics team on the beautiful island of Bali. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region, ensuring that every shipment complies with company standards and customer expectations. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong navigational skills, a solid driving record, and a commitment to maintaining the condition of company assets.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret route information from the Surat Jalan (delivery order) documents to plan efficient travel paths.
- Verify that all items listed on the delivery order are correctly loaded onto the truck before departure.
- Transport goods to the exact destination addresses specified, adhering to scheduled delivery windows.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, trolley, tarpaulin covers, and other company equipment to ensure they remain in good working order.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including signatures, timestamps, and any incident reports.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding any delays, traffic issues, or special delivery instructions.
- Follow all local traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, especially for heavy or fragile items.
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally at each delivery point.
- Participate in periodic safety and vehicle maintenance training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 45 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven driving experience, preferably in a logistics or courier environment.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Ability to read and understand delivery documents and basic map navigation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure correct loading and accurate delivery.
- Physical stamina to handle loading tasks and long hours of driving.
- Good communication skills and a courteous, customer‑focused attitude.
