Responsibilities
The Grill Staff member will be responsible for a wide range of operational duties that ensure smooth kitchen flow and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, marinating, and grilling meat, seafood, and vegetable items according to standardized recipes.
- Monitoring grill temperatures and adjusting heat levels to achieve optimal cooking results.
- Coordinating with kitchen assistants and line cooks to synchronize order timing and plate presentation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, including regular sanitization of grills, tools, and surfaces.
- Inspecting incoming food supplies for freshness, quality, and proper storage conditions.
- Adhering to food safety regulations, including proper handling, temperature control, and waste disposal.
- Assisting in inventory management, reporting low stock items, and suggesting efficient ordering practices.
- Providing occasional support during peak service periods, such as assisting with plating or expediting orders.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications and possess the soft skills necessary for success in a busy kitchen environment:
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 22‑25 years (flexible for candidates who demonstrate exceptional capability).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in grill or kitchen operations; prior experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in food preparation, grilling techniques, and basic kitchen equipment operation.
- Personal Traits: Honest, disciplined, responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and move swiftly in a bustling kitchen.
- Appearance: Clean, neat, and professional presentation at all times.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Banda Aceh or Aceh Besar to ensure reliable attendance.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, clear communication, quick decision‑making, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
