Introduction

The Kitchen Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our culinary environment runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position is ideal for individuals who are diligent, disciplined, and possess a strong sense of responsibility. Working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, the specialist will support both the back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house teams, helping to maintain the high standards of food quality and service that our brand is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and plating are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee the timely availability of fresh ingredients.
  • Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation protocols, conducting routine inspections to comply with local health regulations.
  • Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Assist in the development of weekly menus, providing input on ingredient availability, cost efficiency, and seasonal trends.
  • Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, providing on‑the‑job training and performance feedback to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate closely with the front‑of‑house manager to synchronize order flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
  • Track food waste, analyze cost reports, and suggest operational improvements to optimize profitability.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, offering insights and suggestions for menu innovation and service enhancements.
  • Act as a point of contact for any kitchen‑related emergencies, ensuring swift resolution while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years old; candidates currently enrolled in a college program are not eligible.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: Prior experience in kitchen or food & beverage operations is preferred, though motivated newcomers are also considered.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly and listen actively.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and follow supervisory directions.
  • High level of personal discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Capability to operate a wide range of kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and hygiene practices.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
