Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Retail Promotor for the Brother brand in Denpasar. The successful candidate will be the face of our product line within busy retail environments, helping shoppers understand the value of Brother’s IT, electronics, and printer solutions. This role combines hands‑on sales, product demonstration, and brand advocacy, ensuring that our stores consistently meet or exceed sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage with store visitors, greet them warmly, and assess their needs to recommend appropriate Brother products.
- Conduct live product demonstrations for printers, scanners, and related accessories, highlighting key features, benefits, and troubleshooting tips.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest IT and telecommunications trends to answer technical questions confidently.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets by upselling accessories, service contracts, and promotional bundles.
- Organize and replenish product displays, ensuring that promotional signage is current and visually appealing.
- Coordinate with store managers to align promotional activities with store opening hours and closing procedures.
- Track inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist in ordering replenishments.
- Collect and submit daily sales reports, customer feedback, and market insights to the regional sales team.
- Participate in periodic product training sessions and share best practices with fellow promoters.
- Maintain a clean, well‑groomed appearance and adhere to all health, safety, and company policies while on duty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a diploma or higher is preferred.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a retail promoter or sales associate, preferably within the IT, electronics, printer, or telecommunications sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas and work under a 9‑hour shift schedule (08:00‑17:00), following store opening and closing times.
- Excellent personal hygiene and a well‑groomed, neat appearance suitable for representing the Brother brand.
- Flexibility to work six days a week with one fixed day off that does not fall on a weekend.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn product‑specific software quickly.
- Positive attitude, high level of self‑motivation, and a willingness to continuously improve product knowledge.
