Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Petugas Kasir Penjualan Retail dan Layanan Pelanggan to join our growing team in Pasuruan. The successful candidate will be the front‑line representative of our store, handling cash transactions, assisting shoppers, and ensuring a smooth, pleasant shopping experience. This role is ideal for recent graduates of SMA/SMK who are eager to develop professional skills in a fast‑paced retail environment while adhering to the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP).
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, process cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure all promotional materials are displayed correctly.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions and resolving minor complaints on the spot.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, prepare end‑of‑day reports, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, flag low‑stock items, and assist with shelf‑stocking when needed.
- Follow company SOPs for transaction security, data privacy, and health‑safety protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products, pricing changes, and customer‑service best practices.
- Support promotional events by upselling, cross‑selling, and processing special discount codes.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 25 years.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Basic proficiency with cash register or POS systems; familiarity with “Sistem Kasir” is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Willingness to follow established SOPs and company policies.
- Preferred residence in Pasuruan or surrounding areas for easy commute.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; a friendly, patient attitude toward customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15 kg when necessary.
