Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, specialty teas, and seasonal beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, adhering to health and safety regulations and café hygiene standards.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and process digital payments with accuracy.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering product questions, and providing recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, teas, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as cleaning espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices, to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members during shift changes, supporting a seamless workflow and covering peak‑hour demands.
- Contribute ideas for new menu items, promotional offers, and improvements to service flow, reflecting current industry trends.
- Uphold brand standards in presentation, product quality, and customer interaction at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant barista experience, with a solid understanding of coffee extraction, milk frothing, and tea brewing techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS and cash handling systems confidently.
- Excellent physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg of supplies when needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining punctuality.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Good mental health and a positive attitude, essential for a high‑energy service environment.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is a plus.
