This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization obtains high‑quality raw materials and services at the best possible cost, while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers. Working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, you will be an integral part of our supply chain operations, supporting production schedules, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements to secure favorable contracts.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor order status, follow up on shipments, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Maintain up‑to‑date supplier databases, including performance metrics and compliance records.
- Collaborate closely with production, inventory, and finance teams to forecast material needs and align purchasing plans.
- Conduct periodic market research to stay informed of industry trends, price fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities.
- Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean procurement, cost‑saving projects, and sustainability programs.
- Prepare regular reports on spend analysis, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs for senior management.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to corporate ethics, legal standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing or retail environment.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional relevant education is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
- Positive attitude, service‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency with procurement software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and basic data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
