We are looking for a passionate Staff Barista Professional who can craft high‑quality beverages, uphold our brand standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role is perfect for individuals with at least one year of experience in the coffee‑shop or healthy‑drink industry who thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso‑based drinks, manual brews, smoothies, mocktails, and cold‑pressed juices according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and timing.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety protocols, keeping the bar area, equipment, and raw materials clean at all times.
- Conduct daily mise en place – setting up ingredients, utensils, and stations before opening to guarantee smooth operations.
- Perform regular stock‑opname and accurately log ingredient usage, supporting inventory control and cost management.
- Service and troubleshoot bar equipment (blenders, coffee machines, shakers, juicers, chillers) to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Provide friendly, informative service, answering customer questions about menu items and recommending suitable drinks.
- Report any supply shortages, equipment issues, or operational challenges to the Head Bar promptly.
- Assist in the execution of special events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns hosted by HIGAR Wellness Bar.
- Model professional grooming, attitude, and hospitality standards for all team members.
- Utilize basic Google Sheets or Excel skills to generate simple reports and track stock levels.
- Work flexible shift schedules, including weekends and special event days, to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year in the F&B sector, preferably within coffee shops or health‑drink establishments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in preparing espresso‑based beverages, manual brew methods, smoothies, mocktails, and cold‑pressed juices.
- Understanding of SOPs for service, hygiene, and food safety.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory principles.
- Basic competency with Google Sheets or Excel for reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined work ethic.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Excellent communication, a warm demeanor, and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- Professional appearance and grooming.
- Availability: Willingness to work shift schedules, including Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional event nights.
