Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Staff Room Operations Specialist to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Manage daily housekeeping and maintenance of staff rooms, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and proper inventory of supplies.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to fulfill special requests and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain accurate logs of room usage, cleaning schedules, and equipment checks, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Assist in scheduling shifts, covering peak periods, and providing backup support for other departments when needed.
- Monitor and restock amenities such as linens, toiletries, coffee supplies, and cleaning materials.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions in line with hotel safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors about any operational challenges, maintenance needs, or guest feedback.
- Promote a friendly, polite, and professional atmosphere, acting as a role model for service standards.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with hospitality best practices and emerging industry trends.
- Support special events and large group bookings by preparing staff facilities and ensuring seamless back‑of‑house operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, facilities management, or a related field.
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing schedules, including shifts and weekend work (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Strong team orientation and willingness to assist other departments as needed.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and a keen eye for detail.
- Professional demeanor: friendly, polite, and consistently tidy in appearance and work habits.
- Basic computer literacy for logging activities and managing inventory.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and move equipment safely.
