Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end editing process for corporate videos, promotional clips, social media content, and long‑form productions.
- Work closely with directors and producers to understand project briefs, visual style, and storytelling goals.
- Select, trim, and arrange footage, incorporating sound design, music, graphics, and color grading to achieve a polished final product.
- Maintain a well‑organized media library, ensuring proper naming conventions, version control, and backup procedures.
- Mentor junior editors by providing constructive feedback, sharing workflow tips, and fostering a collaborative studio culture.
- Collaborate with the graphics and animation teams to integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual effects seamlessly.
- Adapt quickly to tight deadlines and high‑pressure situations while preserving creative integrity.
- Continuously research emerging editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to keep the team at the cutting edge.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new video concepts, offering innovative ideas that align with brand strategy.
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications for broadcast, web streaming, and mobile platforms.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in Media Production, Film, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2–3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry‑standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; basic knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics integration.
- Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, honesty, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
