Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Officer Remedial (Penagihan) to join our dynamic finance team in Surabaya, Jawa Timur. This role focuses on managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R Overdue) and ensuring timely collection in a fast‑paced multifinance environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in safeguarding cash flow, supporting revenue targets, and upholding the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily A/R aging reports and identify accounts that have exceeded payment terms.
- Initiate and conduct collection calls, send reminder letters, and negotiate repayment plans with delinquent borrowers.
- Coordinate with the credit underwriting team to verify customer creditworthiness and resolve disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s ERP system, ensuring compliance with internal audit standards.
- Prepare weekly and monthly collection performance reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risk exposures, and recovery rates.
- Collaborate with legal counsel when escalation to formal recovery or litigation is required.
- Support the development of improved collection policies, procedures, and automated reminders to reduce delinquency cycles.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings with sales, finance, and customer service to align on payment terms and address client concerns.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on effective negotiation techniques and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all collection activities adhere to applicable regulations, including the Financial Services Authority (OJK) guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate) or S1 (bachelor) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 29 years at the time of application.
- At least 1 year of experience in credit monitoring, debt collection, or a related multifinance role (experience is a strong plus).
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in using credit management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
