Responsibilities
- Greet every customer entering the store with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Conduct in‑depth consultations to understand customer needs regarding color, type, function, and budget, and recommend the most suitable paint products.
- Explain technical specifications such as coverage, durability, finish, and application methods to help customers make informed decisions.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets by proactively upselling and cross‑selling complementary items.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels on the sales floor, organize displays, and coordinate with the warehouse to replenish stock promptly.
- Prepare accurate sales and inventory reports on a weekly and monthly basis for management review.
- Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and visually appealing, adhering to brand merchandising standards.
- Handle customer complaints calmly, investigate issues, and provide effective resolutions that preserve customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in paint sales, building‑materials retail, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport.
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Honest, disciplined, and accountable with a solid work ethic.
- Comfortable working under a target‑oriented system and motivated by achieving measurable results.
- Willingness to work shift schedules when required, including weekends.
- Ability to travel to and be stationed in Kedungbadak, Kota Bogor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and inventory management.
- Preferred: Prior experience in a paint or construction‑material environment.
