We are seeking motivated, fast‑working individuals with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn the art of carpet obras (stitching) and installation. This full‑time position offers a clear path for growth—from a trainee technician to a team leader—while contributing to the upkeep of sacred spaces across Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master the technical processes of carpet obras, including cutting, stitching, and edge finishing.
- Prepare and install carpet modules in mosques and musholas, ensuring precise alignment and tension.
- Assist the production team with pre‑assembly tasks, material handling, and final finishing to meet Riyad.id quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance of sewing machines, carpet rollers, and installation tools, performing minor repairs and calibrations as needed.
- Monitor on‑site work for compliance with safety regulations and cleanliness, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Identify and troubleshoot installation challenges, proposing practical solutions to avoid delays.
- Document work progress, report any defects, and communicate effectively with supervisors and client representatives.
- Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, sharing knowledge and supporting a team‑oriented environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to boost efficiency and product durability.
- Adhere to the daily work schedule (08:00‑17:00) and be prepared for occasional overtime during peak project periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male, Muslim, aged 21‑28 years, with a commitment to performing the five daily prayers.
- At least 2 years of experience as a machine operator; prior carpet or tailoring experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work with precision, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and follow detailed technical instructions.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills; ability to devise quick solutions when obstacles arise.
- High level of initiative – does not wait for directions before taking action.
- Strong desire to learn new techniques and continuously improve technical proficiency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; comfortable working on site and interacting with clients.
- Non‑smoker preferred; ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field assignments (preferred).
