Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly smile.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and confirm any special dietary requests.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and adherence to portion standards.
- Monitor tables throughout the meal, anticipate guest needs, and respond quickly to requests for refills, additional items, or special assistance.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring all service stations are stocked.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, issue receipts, and reconcile end‑of‑shift reports.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth service flow and resolve any issues that arise.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and pairings, showcasing strong product knowledge.
- Assist in training new wait staff by sharing best practices and demonstrating proper service techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the current opening emphasizes female candidates.
- Age: Must be 32 years old or younger.
- Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Malang.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written); additional language abilities are a plus.
- Personal attributes: quick‑thinking, detail‑oriented, friendly, patient, and honest.
- Ability to work part‑time, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of up to 15 kg.
