Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kasir Penjualan to join our bustling retail outlet. As the front‑line financial representative of our store, you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers while ensuring accurate cash handling and efficient point‑of‑sale operations. Responsibilities
- Process all customer transactions quickly and accurately using the store’s POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic wallets.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring that all necessary supplies (receipt paper, bags, promotional flyers) are stocked at all times.
- Handle cash register reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift, preparing accurate cash‑up reports for management.
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product queries, addressing concerns, and promoting ongoing promotions.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning and recording returned items, and communicating discrepancies to the inventory team.
- Operate basic computer applications for sales reporting, price adjustments, and daily sales summaries.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, data privacy, and health & safety regulations.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours and special sales events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 30 years).
- Gender: Open to all genders, with a specific preference for female candidates as per store policy.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in a retail or hospitality setting.
- Demonstrated ability to operate a computer and POS system confidently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physically healthy and able to stand for extended periods during shift hours.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
