Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional marketing plan for hybrid corn seed and pesticide products, targeting small‑holder and commercial farms.
- Identify high‑potential farming zones in Tuban, Lamongan, Ponorogo, and Trenggalek, and tailor promotional activities to local agronomic conditions.
- Maintain and expand relationships with local kios, agricultural input dealers, and farmer cooperatives through regular visits and field demonstrations.
- Conduct on‑site product presentations and technical trainings (penyuluhan) that highlight seed performance, planting best practices, and integrated pest management.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and promotional discounts with retailers, ensuring alignment with company margins and market competitiveness.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, emerging seed varieties, and pest trends, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of seeds and chemicals to remote outlets, using a personal motorcycle equipped with a valid SIM C.
- Track sales performance against targets, prepare weekly activity reports, and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Participate in local agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and community events to enhance brand visibility.
- Uphold health and safety standards while working in the field, maintaining personal fitness and a positive, resilient attitude.
Requirements
- Male candidates aged 20‑45 years (all genders welcome; age range reflects field‑work demands).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a D3 or S1 degree in Agriculture.
- Native or long‑term resident of West Java, especially from Tuban, Lamongan, Ponorogo, or Trenggalek.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing hybrid corn seed; pesticide experience is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of local corn production potential, soil types, and climate variations.
- Familiarity with local distribution channels R1 and R2 (direct sales and dealer networks).
- Valid SIM C and a reliable personal motorcycle suitable for rural travel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to conduct effective farmer outreach.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to face challenges, and ability to work independently in the field.
- Good physical health and a positive mental attitude to handle the demands of field work.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are advantageous.
