Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance institution dedicated to empowering underserved communities in Indonesia, is seeking dynamic individuals to join its field team as Partner Bisnis Rokan Hilir covering the districts of Bangko, Pusako, and Tanah Putih. This role is the frontline of Amartha’s mission to connect micro‑entrepreneurs and households with affordable financing solutions, fostering sustainable economic growth in the region. Candidates will operate primarily in the field, building relationships with potential borrowers, supporting existing members, and ensuring that loan applications meet the organization’s rigorous standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the Rokan Hilir area, introducing them to Amartha’s financial programs.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments to understand income streams, expenditures, and repayment capacity.
- Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of financing applications, adhering to Amartha’s policies, procedures, and risk‑management guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the internal financing committee, highlighting creditworthiness and proposed loan structures.
- Accompany members to weekly meetings, monitor transaction activities, and provide ongoing coaching to improve financial literacy and business practices.
- Maintain accurate field data and update the central CRM system on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with regional managers and other field partners to share best practices and achieve collective targets.
- Participate in community events and outreach programs to raise awareness of Amartha’s services.
Requirements
- Age: maximum 28 years (some listings also accept up to 35 years for experienced candidates).
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Transportation: Own a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for field travel.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel extensively across Bangko, Pusako, and Tanah Putih.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to engage effectively with borrowers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Fresh graduates are welcome, but prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet weekly performance targets.
- Readiness to be deployed to any Amartha branch across the country as business needs evolve.
