Responsibilities
As a Rental Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive well‑maintained machinery ready for immediate use. Your daily duties will include:
- Performing pre‑operation inspections of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, forklifts, etc.) to verify safety and functionality.
- Operating assigned machinery on-site or within the rental yard according to manufacturer guidelines and company SOPs.
- Completing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, and reporting any defects to the maintenance team.
- Documenting equipment usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents in the rental management system.
- Assisting customers with equipment set‑up, providing basic operational training, and addressing their queries promptly.
- Collaborating with the logistics team to schedule equipment deliveries and returns, ensuring timely turnover.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Supporting administrative tasks such as filing rental contracts, updating inventory records, and handling simple computer‑based tasks.
