Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Iqro to join our vibrant early‑learning community at a reputable kindergarten located in Pamulang, South Tangerang. This role is focused on nurturing young children’s foundational skills in reading the Qur’an (Iqro) while fostering a love for Arabic language and Islamic values. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive, faith‑based learning environment that aligns with our school’s mission of holistic development.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate Iqro lessons for kindergarten students, ensuring clear pronunciation and proper tajweed.
- Develop weekly lesson plans that integrate Islamic teachings with interactive activities, games, and visual aids.
- Assess each child’s progress through regular quizzes, oral recitations, and observational notes, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records in the school’s digital system.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to align Iqro instruction with broader early‑childhood education standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s achievements, areas for improvement, and suggested home‑practice activities.
- Organize and participate in school events such as Qur’an memorization contests, religious celebrations, and community outreach programs.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, dress code, and ethical guidelines, serving as a positive role model for students.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops on modern teaching methodologies and Islamic education.
Requirements
- Female candidate (Akhwat) with a strong commitment to Islamic values.
- Preferably follows the Salaf methodology in teaching.
- Maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) or Arabic Language Education.
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in a similar role.
- Fluent in reading and reciting the Qur’an with proper tajweed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia and basic Arabic.
- High initiative, creativity, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and adhere to school policies and commitments.
- Willingness to be based in Pamulang, South Tangerang.
