Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Helper Dapur (Kitchen Helper) to join our culinary team on a full‑time basis. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency, cleanliness, and overall success of our kitchen operations. The position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule, allowing you to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the delivery of high‑quality food service.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Operate and maintain basic kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and steamers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure all workstations are kept clean, sanitized, and organized before, during, and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and report shortages or spoilage to the supervisor.
- Support the plating and garnishing process to meet presentation standards.
- Carry out routine waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings, providing feedback on workflow and suggesting improvements.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper hand washing, use of gloves, and temperature controls.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak periods, stepping in wherever needed.
Requirements
- Male candidates are preferred, but all genders are welcome to apply.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a focus on Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is highly advantageous.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a similar kitchen support role.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Strong understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.
- Highly disciplined, punctual, and accountable for assigned tasks.

- Basic proficiency in operating common kitchen equipment.
