Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Representative to join our fast‑growing team covering the Gresik region. This frontline role focuses on expanding market share for our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) portfolio, building strong relationships with retailers, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales instinct, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and acquire new retail outlets, distributors, and key accounts within the Gresik territory.
- Conduct daily visitations to existing clients, presenting product promotions, new launches, and seasonal offers.
- Take and process customer orders (taking‑order, TO) accurately, ensuring order entry into the ERP system within agreed timelines.
- Monitor stock levels at client locations, coordinate with the logistics team for timely deliveries, and resolve any supply issues.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs, reporting performance metrics to the regional sales manager.
- Gather market intelligence—pricing trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback—to inform strategic adjustments.
- Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and in‑store activations to boost brand visibility.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, including features, benefits, and compliance standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries and complaints professionally to strengthen brand loyalty.
- Prepare weekly activity reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a sales representative handling FMCG products, preferably in a taking‑order (TO) capacity.
- Own a reliable motorbike and hold a valid, active SIM C driving licence.
- Professional appearance and strong personal grooming standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate, and close sales deals.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, including occasional weekend events or promotions.
