Introduction
The Representative Medical – Spesialis Penjualan Kesehatan position is a pivotal role within our sales force, focused on promoting and educating healthcare professionals about our portfolio of medical products. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring that product knowledge, clinical benefits, and usage guidelines are effectively communicated. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal abilities, a proven track record in medical sales, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through quality healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular face‑to‑face visits to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics within the assigned territory to promote product lines.
- Deliver detailed product presentations, including clinical data, mechanism of action, and comparative advantages, tailored to the audience’s level of expertise.
- Educate healthcare providers on proper product usage, safety protocols, and emerging therapeutic guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging health regulations.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into long‑term customers.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and promotional offers while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback using the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasting sales performance and highlighting potential obstacles.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and product development teams to relay field insights that shape future product strategies.
- Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences to stay current on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations, company policies, and ethical guidelines during all promotional activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field. Candidates with at least a high school diploma (SMA/K) and relevant experience are also considered.
- Age: Up to 35 years old, though no strict upper age limit is imposed.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Medical Representative or in a comparable sales role within the healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical mindset for interpreting sales data, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of managing a demanding schedule with frequent travel.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM) and personal vehicle for territory coverage.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Proficiency in Indonesian; additional language skills are a plus.
