Introduction
PT Amartha Mikro Fintek is inviting qualified candidates to attend an on‑site interview for two pivotal roles in its expanding Banjarmasin network: Business Partner (field team) and Business Manager (branch head). The interview will be held on Monday, 6 April 2026, from 10:00 – 14:00 WITA at Politeknik Hasnur (Wetland Square), Jl. A. Yani No.KM 3,5, Kebun Bunga, Banjarmasin. Responsibilities
Both positions play a strategic role in delivering micro‑finance services to underserved communities in South Kalimantan. While the day‑to‑day tasks differ, the core mission is to expand financial inclusion and drive sustainable growth.
- Business Partner (field team)
- Conduct door‑to‑door outreach to identify prospective micro‑entrepreneurs and assess their financing needs.
- Present Amartha’s loan products, explain terms, and guide applicants through the application process.
- Maintain a personal portfolio of active borrowers, monitor repayment schedules, and provide coaching on cash‑flow management.
- Collect and verify required documentation, ensuring compliance with internal risk‑assessment policies.
- Travel across Banjarmasin and surrounding districts on a motorbike, reporting daily activity to the branch supervisor.
- Business Manager (branch head)
- Lead a team of 5‑10 field partners, setting performance targets and conducting regular coaching sessions.
- Develop and execute branch‑level business plans that align with Amartha’s national growth objectives.
- Oversee credit underwriting, risk monitoring, and portfolio quality to meet profitability and social‑impact metrics.
- Coordinate with regional compliance, operations, and technology teams to streamline loan disbursement and repayment processes.
- Represent the branch in community events, building relationships with local leaders, cooperatives, and government agencies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent for Business Partner; Diploma III for Business Manager.
- All genders are welcome.
- Valid motorbike and willingness to work in the field (Business Partner).
- Willingness to be stationed at any Amartha branch in Banjarmasin and surrounding areas.
- For Business Manager: at least 2 years of experience in micro‑finance or a Grameen‑style financial institution, with proven team‑leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build trust with low‑income borrowers.
- Self‑motivation, problem‑solving attitude, and a commitment to ethical lending practices.
