Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Kolektor Lapangan FIF to join our team in Gombong. As a field collector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our loan portfolio by engaging directly with borrowers who have fallen behind on payments. This position combines on‑the‑ground investigative work with strong negotiation and customer‑service skills, ensuring both the recovery of dues and the preservation of positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Visit delinquent borrowers at their residences or workplaces to collect outstanding instalments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct thorough negotiations, providing clear education on repayment obligations, interest implications, and the consequences of continued delay.
- Develop and propose realistic rescheduling plans (re‑structuring of payment terms) for borrowers experiencing temporary cash‑flow difficulties.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, including photographic evidence, borrower signatures, and electronic entry into the company’s CRM system.
- Verify borrower identities and locate alternate contact points when the provided address is inaccurate or the borrower is unreachable.
- Issue formal warning letters (Surat Peringatan) for accounts overdue beyond 20 days, following regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all borrower data, adhering to data‑protection policies.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal departments to flag high‑risk accounts and assist in escalation procedures when necessary.
- Maintain a personal log of travel mileage and expenses, submitting them for reimbursement in accordance with company policy.
- Continuously update knowledge of local regulations, consumer rights, and best practices in debt collection.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a higher diploma is advantageous.
- No prior collection experience required; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Own reliable motor vehicle and a valid SIM C (motorcycle) license.
- Ability to work independently in the field with a target‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and use of mobile reporting applications.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and occasional overtime during peak collection periods.
