Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and customer‑focused Bank Teller to join our Serang branch. This entry‑level position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and aspiring finance professionals to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic banking environment. The successful candidate will be the front‑line ambassador of our branch, delivering efficient cash handling, loan product disbursement, and cross‑selling services while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with routine transactions such as loan instalment payments, cash deposits, and withdrawals.
- Process non‑transfer NDS financing product disbursements and manage petty cash expenditures in compliance with internal controls.
- Promote and sell cross‑sell programs, including fee‑based income products, by identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Handle cash receipts from cross‑sell initiatives, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the teller window and work area in a tidy, organized manner, adhering to security and anti‑fraud procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to generate daily transaction reports, update customer records, and support branch administration.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and delivering a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with loan officers, branch managers, and back‑office staff to ensure seamless processing of financing applications.
- Stay informed about the bank’s product portfolio, regulatory changes, and industry trends to offer relevant advice.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 degree from any discipline with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
- Age: maximum 26 years (candidates up to 29 years may be considered if they meet other criteria).
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and a professional appearance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse customer groups and internal teams.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
