Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook daily menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring taste, presentation, and food safety standards are met.
- Assist in planning the daily menu in collaboration with the head chef, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Measure, portion, and assemble ingredients accurately, maintaining a clean and organized work station.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and conduct regular stock checks to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
- Maintain strict hygiene practices, including proper hand washing, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to local health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff, waitstaff, and management to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours.
- Participate in shift handovers, documenting any issues, equipment malfunctions, or special orders for the next shift.
- Support kitchen clean‑up at the end of each shift, including washing utensils, cleaning cooking equipment, and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, suggest menu enhancements, and contribute ideas for cost‑effective sourcing.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.

- Quick‑thinking and agile (cekatan) in a fast‑paced kitchen.
- Hardworking, diligent, and highly responsible.
- Excellent team player capable of cooperating under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Unmarried status is preferred for scheduling flexibility.
- Essential skills:
- Basic cooking techniques and ability to follow recipes.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with staff.
