As a Sales Consultant you will be the face of Massindo at our exhibition spaces, showcasing our latest collections, guiding customers through the buying journey, and ensuring the showroom remains a pristine, inviting environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive product presentations, highlighting the unique features, materials, and design advantages of Massindo bedding and furniture.
- Engage with visitors, answer inquiries, and provide tailored recommendations based on individual preferences and needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of all showroom displays, ensuring product placement follows brand standards.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, following up on leads and converting interest into sales.
- Conduct competitor and market trend analyses to identify opportunities for product positioning and promotional activities.
- Track daily sales performance, prepare reports on customer feedback, and share insights with the sales manager to refine strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to coordinate promotional events, product launches, and special exhibitions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, seeking swift resolution while preserving brand reputation.
- Utilize sales software and CRM tools to log interactions, manage pipelines, and schedule follow‑up appointments.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, industry developments, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 1 year as a Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) or similar role.
- Prior experience in the bedding or furniture sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent personal presentation and a polished, professional appearance.
- Willingness to be stationed at any of Massindo’s exhibition locations nationwide.
- Own reliable transportation for commuting to and from work sites.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to assess competitor activity, market trends, and sales data.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
