Introduction
Amartha, a leading micro‑finance institution in Indonesia, is expanding its footprint in the Dumai region (covering Batin Solapan, Kandis, Mandau, and Minas). We are looking for motivated Business Partners who can act as the bridge between local communities and our innovative financing programs. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, guiding them through Amartha’s program enrollment process.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching to member households, helping them improve budgeting, savings, and repayment habits.
- Conduct field surveys and perform feasibility analyses on financing applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed recommendations to the credit committee for loan approval decisions.
- Accompany members to weekly meetings, monitor transaction activities, and resolve any service‑related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field visits, and performance metrics using Amartha’s digital reporting tools.
- Collaborate with regional managers and other Business Partners to share best practices and achieve collective targets.
- Represent Amartha at community events and local business gatherings to strengthen brand awareness and trust.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) diploma; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
- Age: Candidates must be no older than 35 years (maximum 28 years for entry‑level positions).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged.
- Mobility: Own a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) and be willing to travel extensively across the assigned districts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse community members and internal stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, problem‑solving mindset, high level of integrity, and the capacity to work independently in the field.
- Flexibility: Willingness to be deployed to any Amartha branch as business needs evolve.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00; weekends off.
