Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC to join our expanding team in the bustling area of Kota Bontang. This role focuses on acquiring new micro, small, and medium‑size enterprises (UMKM) as merchants for our Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions. The successful candidate will act as the front‑line ambassador of our payment technology, helping local businesses modernize their payment processes while driving revenue growth for the company.

The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and provides a supportive environment where ambition and results are rewarded.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive canvassing and cold‑calling of UMKM owners within the designated territory to introduce and demonstrate the benefits of our EDC machines.
  • Achieve a daily acquisition target of 2‑3 new merchant contracts, ensuring consistent pipeline development.
  • Perform on‑site product demonstrations, explain transaction fees, settlement cycles, and value‑added services such as loyalty programs and cash‑back features.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system, updating lead status, follow‑up actions, and contract details.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to arrange installation, testing, and training for newly onboarded merchants.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports to the regional manager, highlighting successes, challenges, and market insights.
  • Identify and communicate competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging market needs to help refine product positioning.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with merchants, ensuring high satisfaction and encouraging repeat business or referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • No upper age limit; candidates of any age are encouraged to apply.
  • Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or field‑marketing role, preferably within financial services or technology.
  • Possession of a valid SIM C (motorcycle license) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile applications and sales tracking tools.
