Introduction
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our logistics team as Motorcycle Couriers for the Padang Koto Tangah area. This role is essential for ensuring that parcels, documents, and small shipments reach customers quickly, safely, and with the highest level of service. As a courier, you will be the face of our company, representing our commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport packages on a personal motorcycle, ensuring that each item is protected from damage during transit.
- Plan optimal routes using navigation apps while considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and delivery priorities.
- Inspect orders before departure and verify items upon receipt at the destination to guarantee order accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods from the motorcycle, especially when handling heavier parcels that require careful handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, record mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, and submit daily reports to the logistics coordinator.
- Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers, answering basic queries and obtaining signatures or electronic confirmations when required.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, wear appropriate protective gear, and conduct routine maintenance checks on the motorcycle to ensure it remains in prime condition.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to receive new assignments, report completed deliveries, and communicate any challenges encountered on the route.
- Support special delivery requests, such as time‑sensitive documents or temperature‑controlled items, following company SOPs.
Requirements
- Own a well‑maintained motorcycle (minimum 150cc) with a valid and active SIM C license.
- Age between 18 and 45 years; candidates of any gender are welcome.
- Basic education (any level) is acceptable; strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
- Reside within or near the Padang Koto Tangah region to ensure quick response times.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM for route navigation, order tracking, and communication.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Physical stamina to load and unload parcels and ride for extended periods.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian; knowledge of local dialects is a plus.
