Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely preparation and service of menu items.
  • Develop, test, and refine recipes in collaboration with senior chefs to keep the menu innovative and cost‑effective.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to secure fresh ingredients.
  • Maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance team culture.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, troubleshooting minor issues and arranging service for major repairs.
  • Monitor food waste and implement waste‑reduction strategies to improve profitability.
  • Prepare daily production schedules, aligning staffing levels with expected service volume.
  • Ensure consistent portion control and plating standards to uphold brand quality.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house managers to synchronize service flow and address guest feedback promptly.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age limit: up to 40 years old.
  • Open to all genders; we value diversity and inclusivity.
  • At least 0‑2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues.
  • Honest, reliable, and ready to commit to scheduled shifts.
  • Proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, grills, mixers, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
  • Basic understanding of cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
