Responsibilities
- Assist lead Kumon instructors in delivering daily lessons for both mathematics and English, ensuring that each student follows the individualized learning plan.
- Prepare worksheets, learning materials, and classroom resources before each session, maintaining an organized and tidy teaching space.
- Monitor student progress, record completion rates, and provide timely feedback to instructors and parents.
- Conduct brief one‑on‑one review sessions for students who need extra guidance, reinforcing concepts and building confidence.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records in Kumon’s digital tracking system.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
- Support classroom management by fostering a respectful, focused, and positive atmosphere.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, training workshops, and professional development sessions to stay current with Kumon teaching strategies.
- Assist in organizing special events, open houses, and promotional activities that showcase the center’s success.
- Uphold Kumon’s standards of safety, hygiene, and child protection at all times.
Requirements
- Female candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated basic proficiency in mathematics and English.
- A genuine love for children and a strong interest in the education sector.
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn new teaching techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate learners of varying abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to the regular work schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and use of Kumon’s learning management system.
