Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service that aligns with Accor’s brand standards, ensuring every patron feels welcomed and valued.
- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area, adhering to local health regulations and Accor’s internal policies.
- Coordinate with kitchen, front‑desk, and other hotel departments to guarantee seamless service flow and prompt guest request resolution.
- Train, coach, and mentor bar staff on beverage preparation, service etiquette, and upselling techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing reports that help management identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Handle guest complaints or operational challenges calmly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper storage of alcoholic beverages and responsible service practices.
- Participate in menu development, suggesting new cocktails, mocktails, and beverage pairings that reflect local tastes and global trends.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional overtime, to meet the hotel’s operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience supervising a bar or beverage service within a hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency (spoken and written) is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and a guest‑oriented mindset.
- Proven leadership abilities, capable of motivating a team, delegating tasks, and managing performance.
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, and proactive in identifying opportunities for service enhancement.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to a fast‑changing environment, and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a schedule typically from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday‑Saturday.
- Knowledge of food and beverage management, inventory control, and cost‑optimization techniques.
