Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Hotel Night Operations Manager to lead our front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams during the evening and overnight shifts. This pivotal role ensures that guests experience seamless service, safety, and comfort from the moment they check‑in after dark until the morning turnover. The ideal candidate combines solid hospitality experience with strong leadership, problem‑solving abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all night‑time hotel operations, including front desk, concierge, security, housekeeping coordination, and food‑and‑beverage outlets.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak and off‑peak periods while complying with labor regulations.
  • Handle guest arrivals, check‑ins, and early‑morning departures with a focus on accuracy and hospitality.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints, emergencies, and special requests, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
  • Conduct nightly audits of cash handling, inventory, and room status reports to maintain financial integrity.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to address any facility issues that arise during the night.
  • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols, including fire drills, key control, and incident reporting.
  • Prepare daily operational reports for senior management, highlighting occupancy trends, revenue performance, and any notable incidents.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a well‑groomed, professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s brand standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a similar hospitality role; experience in night or shift management is a plus.
  • Educational background of at least D3/D4 in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities with a guest‑oriented mindset.
  • Proven capability to work efficiently in fast‑paced environments and under pressure.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Professional, disciplined demeanor with a well‑groomed appearance.
  • Sharp problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve guest issues swiftly.
  • Relevant hospitality background preferred, with a solid understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
