Introduction

XLSMART is expanding its footprint in the thriving market of Sawahlunto and is looking for enthusiastic, self‑motivated individuals to join the team as Sales Canvasser – Mobile. As a Sales Canvasser you will be the front‑line ambassador for XL and Axis products, delivering the company’s value proposition directly to retail outlets, regional offices (RO), and authorized resellers across the designated territory.

The position offers a dynamic work environment with a mix of independent field work and collaborative reporting, perfect for candidates seeking a balance between autonomy and team support. Work hours run Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, allowing you to experience the vibrant commercial activity of Sawahlunto while contributing to the company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled visits to pre‑identified partners, RO locations, and sales counters to promote and sell XL and Axis SIM cards, data packages, and voucher bundles.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned area, including cold‑calling potential retailers and negotiating placement agreements.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales targets set by the regional sales manager.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of customer interactions, sales orders, and inventory levels using the company’s mobile CRM application.
  • Provide on‑site product demonstrations, answer technical queries, and assist partners with activation and troubleshooting.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust‑based relationships with existing partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align promotional activities with field execution.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding product pricing, discount structures, and compliance with telecommunications regulations.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions, product launches, and regional sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Up to 35 years old; no strict upper age limit but preference for energetic candidates.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and personal motor vehicle for traveling between client locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey product benefits clearly.
  • Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic with a willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Basic numeracy and comfort using mobile apps for order entry and reporting.
  • Prior experience in direct sales, field canvassing, or retail distribution is a distinct advantage, though fresh graduates with the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills (e.g., English) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
