Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Staff Accounting professional to join our finance team in Yogyakarta. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting strategic decision‑making, and maintaining compliance with local regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants and the finance manager, contributing to the overall health of our company’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record daily journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper classification.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the general ledger, monitor account balances, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to collect necessary documentation for expense claims and vendor payments.
  • Utilize the company’s ERP system to input, retrieve, and analyze large volumes of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including preparation of tax filings and supporting schedules.
  • Participate in internal audits and provide required documentation to external auditors.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes through automation and best‑practice adoption.

Requirements

  • Gender: Female; Age: Maximum 30 years.
  • Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a general accounting role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced with ERP systems.
  • Analytical Ability: Capable of managing and interpreting large data sets with precision.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly meticulous, responsible, and able to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Location: Willingness to be based in Yogyakarta for the duration of employment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving aptitude, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
