Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and arrange all ingredients required for teppanyaki cooking, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- Execute basic and advanced teppanyaki cooking techniques on a flat‑top grill, delivering dishes that meet our taste, presentation, and timing standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, performing regular sanitation of equipment, tools, and surfaces in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels, communicate stock needs to the kitchen manager, and assist with receiving and rotating supplies to minimize waste.
- Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order flow, respond to special dietary requests, and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Handle high‑pressure service periods (e.g., lunch and dinner rushes) while maintaining composure, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
- Participate in regular training sessions and menu tastings to stay current with emerging Japanese culinary trends and seasonal menu updates.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards by presenting a professional appearance, practicing courteous guest interaction, and embodying a team‑first mindset.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; culinary school graduates (especially those with a focus on Japanese cuisine) are highly preferred.
- Age between 18 and 30 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Residency in Purwokerto or nearby districts.
- Demonstrated interest in the F&B industry with basic teppanyaki cooking proficiency.
