Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant & Bar Operations Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team at a leading international hotel chain. This full‑time role is based in a bustling urban location and offers a unique opportunity to lead a high‑performing food and beverage outlet that serves both local guests and international travelers. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a proven track record in managing restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring seamless service from opening to closing.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for food, beverage, and supplies, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Lead a team of servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and support personnel, providing coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, conducting regular audits and staff training.
- Utilize the POS (Point of Sale) system, Realta property management software, and Microsoft Office to generate sales reports, analyze performance metrics, and forecast revenue.
- Develop and implement menu concepts, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns aligned with brand standards.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, turning issues into opportunities for loyalty building.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu consistency, quality control, and efficient kitchen workflow.
- Monitor labor costs, labor productivity, and service standards to meet budgetary targets.
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and improvement plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar managerial role within an international hotel or upscale restaurant brand.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further hospitality education is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with POS systems, Realta, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in beverage management, including cocktail creation, inventory, and cost control.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales and service excellence.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
